The 12th Olympiadept Closing Ceremony was held on September 9th, 2017.
The event is to celebrate and awarding the winning team of 7 kinds of sports competition which was held more than 1 months, and the winner of hobbies and interest’s enhancing competition.
Olympiadepartment is an event that associates look forward in every year. Its connect to leading fair play spirit, improving communication, and strengthening the teamwork.
On September 14th 2017, Evacuation Drill was held.
Evacuation drills held regularly every year to maintain and improve associates understanding of disaster prevention such as a fire and earthquake. When disaster happens, everyone can evacuate promptly without panic.
Not only evacuation drill, for this year we also implementing fire fighting and first aid for the injured, and reconfirm the roles and procedures of emergency.
HPPM Best Kaizen & Best Hakken Competition for 16ki 1st Half was held on October 12th -13th. From 23,718 themes proposed, 22 best theme has been presented at gemba.
For Best Hakken Competition,there was 523 themes proposed and 20 theme was presented.
On October 2nd ~3rd HPPM Ganriki Training was held and attended by 42 participants from HPPM and its Suppliers.
The purpose of this training is to increase sensitivity to a problem, so that it can be fixed immediately and increase productivity as well. By maintaining QCDMS between HPPM & Supplier, high level of production performance can be achieved by both company.
On Oct 2nd – 3rd HPPM implement TQM Training for group leader, which was followed by 15 Group Leader
The aims of the training is to understand the DST-PDCA method as the basis of Honda’s way of thinking at work, also to improve the skill of determining the steps of developing action plan in each work area
HPPM participated in NHC Asia Oceania in Vietnam and Interbloc in China . The team can see and learn themes of other Honda associates from other countries and can mingle and learn the culture of other countries.
Knowledge and experience will be shared to new member circle and it is expected that the level of HPPM NHC activities will be increased.
On November 4th , the 15th Family Gathering HPPM was held. It was followed enthusiastically by 7989 associates and families.
This year has also become a fun event and has create trust and a strong bound between associate and HPPM family . The trust and strong bound will continue and draw closer to nurture and enhance cooperation in harmonic atmosphere.
As one of the strategy on preparing HPPM Self reliance, on 21-Dec-17 has conducted the 4th New Model Course, which attend by 69 attendee, contains of Group Leaders and New Model PIC (NM PL’s). The aims of the event is to learn the purpose , positioning, method, checked items and its relation to other departments at New Model start up development. Also to improve PIC’s skill. To be implement on 20M-2TG Development.
On Nov 17th ~ Dec 5th 2017, the 4th Technical Olympic has been held. This year, Engineering Drawing Competition newly added as the 4th kind of competition, the event was joined by 440 associates, 10% increased to last year’s participants numbers. They were challenged to improve their skills.
The aims of the event is to increase associates interest of improving their skills and motivated continuously.
