HPPM Supplier Meeting was conducted on January 22nd 2021. As prevention of covid-19 infection, this year's meeting was conducted online. We also commended outstanding suppliers with the best QCD. By this meeting, it is expected that HPPM along with all suppliers are able to provide the best product to customers all around the globe.
As a member of Global Honda, HPPM also working to reduce the environmental problem in order to achieve Honda's environmental vision. One of these effort, HPPM are promoting activities by creating promotion video so that all associates could perform activities to reduce environmental problem in their daily basis.
19Ki Safety Poster Competition was held in March 3rd 2021. There are three poster themes of Occupational Safety, Traffic Safety, and Disaster Prevention. 125 posters were collected from each Department which creatively devised by associates. Each poster has its own character, and there were many works that helped in raising safety awareness.
The excellent works will be displayed on each site to promote safety awareness.
HPPM Annual Medical Check-up was held in January 26th till February 26th 2021.
This year's medical checkup was conducted in the middle of Covid-19, so we took steps to prevent infection. In addition to maintain the physical distance of employees undergoing screening, we take a good care in setting partitions, inspecting the PIC for Covid-19 in advance, and wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
External Audit of ISO 9001 and 14001 were conducted on March 3rd ~ 4th 2021.
This audit confirmed that quality and environmental management are being effectively performed in line with the organization's policies, goals, and objectives.
On March 26th 2021, farewell party for Muranaka President Director was conducted as a gratitude from associates.
Despite of Covid-19, farewell party for Muranaka President Director was held warmly and grandly with associates. By applying tight protocol, we held as many events as possible such as utilizing video conference.
19Ki 2nd Half BQ Competition was held in April 30th 2021. From 11 entries which focus on quality improvement, 3 themes have been evaluated and selected by the juries.
Each selected theme performed deep analysis and took appropriate countermeasure towards the goal.
Through BQ activity HPPM would continue to provide high quality products and strive to maintain the trust from customer around the world.
Eid Al-Fitr is a Muslim and big holiday for Indonesian to take a long vacation. During that long vacation many Indonesians return to their hometown. To prevent corona virus spread, the government banned homecoming and strictly regulated travel activity.
In order to prevent corona spread, HPPM also encouraged associate not to go home during long vacation and also checked associate health state from 3 days before returning to work.
As a result, there were no cases of corona infection after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. All associates returned to work in a good health and HPPM was able to operate normally.
Each Department at HPPM conducted an ISO 9001 internal audit from June 15th to 24th 2021 to ensure that a high-quality management system was properly implemented and managed.
This internal audit was conducted by complying Covid-19 prevention protocol. We were able to confirm that we promptly implement countermeasures for the problems that occurred in each Department. In addition, we were able to confirm the departments have systematized the countermeasures as new rules, so we would horizontally deploy and it could lead to the improvement of the overall HPPM areas.
June 6th 2021 was the 19th anniversary of the establishment HPPM. Every year on this day, we commend associates who have been working for 5, 10, or 15 years. This year, there were 108 associates with 5 years of service, 6 with 10 years of service, and 250 with 15 years of service. Total of 364 people were commended.
This award ceremony is held to show gratitude from the company for the work, cooperation of the associates, and we hope that this event will lead to improve motivation and spirit of associates.
HPPM is conducting periodic safety patrol. Additional to routine activity, to strengthen by management involvement to minimize the risk of covid 19 infection within the company.
Patrols are conducted at gemba and rest areas during breaks and shift changing.
This Patrol activity is conducted to confirm that associates always complies health protocol and to reduce infection risk at the company.
On July 31st 2021, HPPM conducted COVID-19 vaccination program for associates. In this activity, HPPM contributes to the vaccination program promoted by the government.
The vaccine would be given to each associate in two doses. It is expected that more associates could be vaccinated to prevent infection and severe symptoms, so that it would keep the company running smoothly.
On August 26th and 30th 2021, HPPM conducted training on Kaizen activity. The purpose of this training is to improve Kaizen activities understanding of Kaizen committee member at each Department.
By teaching each staff member of what committee members have learned and understood in this training, we are working to maintain and improve the quality of Kaizen activity for the entire HPPM.
This training would be conducted continuously.
On August 28th and 29th 2021, HPPM conducted the second vaccination.
HPPM would continue to support associate vaccination so that herd immunity could be acquired early.
On September 23rd 2021, HPPM held awarding ceremony for the winners of the BQ Competition. The “Winning Plaque” were received from HM at the end of August and presented to 3 winning teams.
The 1st place was PULLEY Dept, the 2nd place was LOGISTIC CONTROL & PRODUCTION QUALITY Dept, and the 3rd place was the BELT ASSEMBLY Dept.
There were 11 entries in total, and all of them selected innovative ideas for quality improvement activities.
On September 23rd 2021, HPPM Disaster Prevention Committee conducted evacuation drill and firefighting drill.
40 associates participated the drills at company area. Despite the corona situation, we thoroughly trained and inspected in case of emergency.
On October 12th ~ 14th 2021 HPPM held the 20Ki 1st Half Best Kaizen Competition by applying covid-19 protocol. 20 themes were competed at Honban Competition and evaluated by TOP Management. It results, 2 themes were selected for President Director Award. This time, small improvement with large impact selected as the winner.
Beside Best Kaizen Competition, there were 16 Hakken themes from each Department. 1 theme selected for President Director Award and 2 themes selected for CEQ Award.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic unfortunately Indonesian Convention, Asian Convention and World Convention were not conducted for this year. However, HPPM still progressing the activity. Each member energetically progressing their theme while valuing communication.
This year by complying Covid-19 protocol, HPPM held Division Convention on October 27th ~ November 4th 2021. 27 circles were evaluated by each General Managers.
Each HPPM circle is working so hard as a team on NHC activities.
HPPM held Virtual Olympiadepartment in November 7th until December 5th 2021.
Last year, the annual event was canceled due to pandemic, but this year it was held as virtual event while complying Covid-19 protocol.
The event activities are virtual run, virtual ride, e-sport, art performance contest, photo and video contest. There were so many associates who participated in sport and art performance contest.
We continue to challenge and evolve in-house events with new ideas with the aim of improving employee communication, motivation, and teamwork, even though in the middle of pandemic.
HPPM held NHC HPPM Convention on November 18th 2021. 12 circles were selected from all Divisions and presented their themes in front of BOD.
This year, we have unique themes that perform brand new things out of the routine, and there were new fresh faces who involved in NHC activity.
Despite NHC World Convention is canceled due to pandemic, the circle members were enthusiastically dan happily in presenting their themes.
HPPM conducted training of fire fighting on December 29th ,2021.
Due to pandemic situation, this year training was participated by main members.
The participants were 10 members of HPPM Fire Fighting Team, that trained within company area. This training aims to reaffirm the associate’s knowledge and skill in operating Fire Extinguisher and Fire Hydrant.
We would continue to apply Safety training programs while complying health protocol during this pandemic to prevent the infection.
HPPM conducted Closing Ceremony Olympiadepartment on December 5th ,2021.
This year was conducted online by ZOOM and participated by 1323 associates.
At this event we held virtual sports, e-sports, video contests, photo contests, and art contests and each winner was announced.
We expect that this event would stimulate communication among associates.
