18Ki Safety Poster Competition was held in January the 29th 2020. There
were 204 posters made by associates in each department with 3 themes required,
Occupational Safety, Traffic Safety and Disaster Prevention. There were many works
which reflected their own personality and helped raise safety awareness.
The excellent works will be displayed on each site to promote safety understanding.
In January 31st 2020, HPPM Supplier Meeting was held and participated by 99 person from 60 companies. As the appreciation for their daily support and effort, we shared our production plan, quality improvement and cost reduction. In this event there was awarding of Supplier with the best QCD performance, and we also requested further cooperation for improving the level of QCD.
Safety Riding training was held in February 18th & 25th 2020. It aimed to increase awareness and safely driving skill.
Also in February 19th & 26th KYT (Kiken Yochi Training) was held, aiming to strengthen skill in analyzing harm potency at workplace.
Safety activity would always be carried out as HPPM commitment in maintaining ‘0’ occupational accident and ‘0’ traffic accident.
HPPM Annual Medical Check-up was held in January 28th till February 28th 2020.
The purpose is as immediate as possible to detect associate’s health issue so that prevention act could be taken and not affecting the workplace environment. Furthermore, the result could be useful as reference to all associates in maintaining their healthy state.
External Audit of ISO 9001 and 14001 were held on March 23th~24th 2020.
Through this external audits confirmed that HPPM's daily management and organizational policies and objectives to maintain the quality and environment were functioning properly, and the internal audit process was also appropriate.
In preventing covid-19 contagion in HPPM surroundings, HPPM conducted daily body thermal scanning and hand disinfection as a first line measure to obstruct the virus being brought to the company. In the factory “Physical Distancing” is applied, the cafeteria, break space, prayer room and others are divided by each workplace area in order to minimize the spread of infection even of an emergency.
The 18Ki second half best kaizen competition was held on April 22nd and 23rd 2020. From 22,594 submitted proposals, there were 22 proposals being presented at Genba. On this Best Kaizen Competition, physical distancing is applied where each person should be 1 meter away one another during the presentation process.
Best kaizen competition is expected to motivate associates exploring their idea to improve genba and contributing on company quality improvement based on QCDMS.
As consistently efforts to prevent the spread of corona virus (COVID 19) infection, physical distancing are being implemented by requiring all associates to wear mask, adding number of commuting bus and limiting passenger capacity to 50%, and branching off working area by utilizing multipurpose space. At workplace, we will continue to strengthen and improve our efforts to prevent infection, and put our associate health as our top priority.
Ramadan Iftar Event (break of fast) was held on June 13th 2020. This year, in the middle of corona virus outbreak, the event content changed as ① Special snack distribution for all associates ② We donated to two orphanage around company as CSR activity.
On June 6th 2020 HPPM celebrated it’s 18th anniversary. Started with M-CVT, we have contributed to Honda's manufacturing by supplying high-precision and high-quality products globally.
On the 18th anniversary of our establishment, we held awarding event for associates who have loyally work with us for 5, 10 and 15 years.
HPPM Best Quality Convention was held in June 23rd 2020. In this year BQ Convention, there were 11 registered themes and have already been presented. ３themes were selected as champions.
Each theme was chosen as winners since three of them were able to analyze problem very detail until the root cause, and effective improvement, so that make theme led to get assessment. Through BQ activity HPPM would continually strive to produce high quality products so that continuously gaining trust from customer around the world.
Business audits were conducted via TV Conference from June 2nd ~ 5th2020. The purpose of the audit is to confirm that the HCG implementation is being implemented accordingly and to ensure that the business is operated effectively and efficiently according to the rules. As the result, we received some advice, but over all HPPM is stated still carry out business operational according to HCG policy. In the future, HPPM will make sure to take measures based on advises from the audit and aim for the better operation.
Due to Covid-19 condition, HPPM Convention is cancelled. Company would held NHC Division Presentation with still applying health protocol for Covid-19 prevention.
As preventive act of Covid-19 transmission inside the company environment, HPPM once again created a pocketbook for associates better understanding. It contents about HPPM's Corona Infection Prevention Policy, Definition of Rich Contacts, Health Protocol for Workplaces and Commuting, and advice how to wear face mask properly, maintain distance, and wash hand properly. We also hope associate awareness for health will increase.
As an effort in preventing covid-19 transmission and improving awareness towards transmission prevention act, company has played video at canteen during meal break time.
Through message of the video, it is expected that associates could deeply understand the risk of being infected by the virus, and could actively prevent the transmission by always wearing facemask, hand washing, and maintaining social distance. As well as persuade to comply the health protocol anywhere and anytime to protect our valuable family.
Internal Audit ISO was held in August 24th~26th 2020.
The purpose of Internal Audit is ensuring whether HPPM Quality Management System is implemented properly and well managed in each section. In case found any laxity, standardization would be taken which connected with HPPM Quality Management Level Improvement thoroughly.
As HPPM continuous effort in preventing covid-19 spread around company environment, besides promotion act, compliance patrol are conducted as well. The patrol is controlled by Safety and Health Department, and conducted by all Managers.
This activity aims to provide direct surveillance and caution to all associates who happened not complying covid-19 protocol such as not applying face mask properly and not maintaining physical distance.
The patrol is scheduled twice a day, at the noon and night. The patrol is expected to improve associate awareness in protecting themselves from covid-19 infection risk.
Covid-19 infection prevention act promotion by video is conducted continuously. For now, message regarding examples of discompliance act from associates inside company environment and as well as outside are being main concern. Those examples are being followed by proper compliance act.
The video is shown at canteens during meal break, from October 14th ~ 31st 2020. This video expected that associates are aware to protect themselves from covid-19 infection anywhere and anytime.
The 19Ki 1st Half Best Kaizen Competition was held by applying covid-19 protocol. There were 22 themes which competed at Honban Competition with Top Management members as Jury. As result there were 2 themes that won President Director Awards.
Besides Best Kaizen, there were 20 themes of best Hakken from all Departments. 1 theme won the PD Awards and 2 theme won the CEQ Awards.
Due to covid-19 pandemic unfortunately Indonesian Convention, Asian Convention and World Convention were not conducted for this year. However, this condition did not stop the spirit, joy, initiative and communication which activated uniqueness the members in carrying out improvement activity.
To answer that hope, by applying covid-19 protocol, NHC Division Convention in HPPM was conducted in September 24th ~ October 19th2020. 31 circles were participated, they were evaluated by each Division’s General Manager. HPPM would continuously strive to build solid team in carrying out improvement activity for next NHC event.
HCG Self Verification ELC & DLC has been conducted in 2020 of November 18th ~ December 20th at HPPM. This activity aimed to confirm that company operational has been conducted as per provision stated by Honda Motor.
HPPM would continuously improve the HCG audit quality so that able to cover the weaknesses in company management system.
We conducted safety checks on commuter vehicles to prevent traffic accidents during the year-end and New Year holidays from December 24, 2020 to January 3, 2021.This year as well, we were able to continue to have zero traffic accidents during this period.
In addition, to prevent the spread of infection, we conducted a Rapid test on the associates who returned home and worked to prevent infection from bringing the virus into the company.
