In January 18th 2019, HPPM Supplier Meeting was held and joint by 97 person from 59
companies.
As the appreciation for their daily support and efforts for our production planning, quality
improvement and cost reduction, in this event we also asked for unity and greater cooperation in order
to level up of QCD.
In 2018, ALMC Department as HPPM representative presented BQ theme at Asia Oceania Best Quality Award
in Thailand on January 23rd~24th, 2019.
11 themes from 9 country was presented, and theme from ALMC Department was awarded as BQ Award for
GOLD Category.
We will continuously develop BQ activities and do quality improvement with a high consciousness.
On February 18th HPPM Technology Exchange was held and selected representative theme to
participate Asia Oceania Technology Exchange.
It is aimed to develop All Honda production system by improving their own idea in new technology and
new plan which could be spread to other genpos.
On January 14th till February 2nd 2019, Safety poster competition was held.
Winning posters were selected from 149 entries in each category of occupational safety, traffic safety
and disaster prevention.
It is aimed at improving workplace safety and traffic safety awareness, and preventing disaster.
Winning posters would be displayed at each workplace to raise associate’s awareness.
Mr. Igarashi, President Director of ASH came to HPPM on March 25th 2019.
After visiting HPPM factory, he gave some valuable advise from various viewpoint. By those advises,
HPPM would continue to make improvement and reform, aiming to become number 1 on QCDMS.
Mr. Watari, PPO General Manager visited HPPM. He paid a visit to each site and gave advise for future business operation.
External Audit of ISO 9001 and 14001were held on March 25th~26th 2019.Through this audit, it has been confirmed that quality and environmental anagement were effectively operated according to the organization’s policies, goals, and objectives.
HPPM Best Kaizen & Best Hakken Competition for 17ki 2nd half was held on April
29th-30th at each gemba where improvement activity was conducted.
11 themes was selected as winners from 22 themes submitted by departments.
For Best Hakken Competition, 3 themes was selected as winners from 20 submitted themes.
In fiscal year 18Ki, TOEIC certificate acquisition program is conducted to enhance English skill which
globally recognized.
Prior the training program, Group Leader and Manager have taken English proficiency test based on
TOEIC standard on April 1st, 2nd and 10th 2019 to measure their
English skill.
Training program will begin in June 2019.
BQ award competition was held on May 2nd 2019 which participated by 9 themes and 3 best
themes has selected as winners.
The winner will participate to Asia Oceania BQ in Thailand as HPPM representative in January 2020.
Through activities BQ we will continually strive to improve quality and human resource.
Buka Puasa (Fasting Break) was held on May 22nd 2019 which is participated by all
associates and management team.
This annual event aimed to strengthen deepen relationship among all associates and company. This event
goal is to build better communication and working motivation.
On June 24th Mr. Mizuno (Managing Officer), Mr. Mizoguchi (Operating Officer) and Mr.
Kobayashi (Operating Officer) have been visited HPPM in accordance with Regional Chief Operating
Officers Meeting in Indonesia.
They visited genba and gave advices from many viewpoints.
Reflecting the advices, HPPM would continue to work on improving the QCDMS aiming for the best plant
in the world.
The 14th HPPM Olympiadepartment Opening Ceremony has been held on June 23rd.
This event aim to strengthen communication and coordination among associates and improve associate’s
mental and physical health through sport competitions and hobby contest.
HPPM would continue to improve associate’s motivation through such events.
14 circle, 11 from HPPM and 3 from supplier, have competed in NHC HPPM Bloc Convention which held in
July 18 2019.
This event was held to determined HPPM and suplier's circle to advance to NHC Indonesia Bloc
Convention which held in August 29th 2019 at HPPM and also to strengthen communication
among HPPM and supplier's associate.
The 14th HPPM Olympiadepartment Closing Ceremony was held in July 29th 2019.
This event aims to strengthen communication and coordination among associate which could improve work
motivation.
Mr. Hideaki Masuda visited HPPM in July 22nd 2019.
Mr. Yoshiharu Kinpara (General Manager) Suzuka Plant, Transmission Factory visited HPPM in July
25-26th 2019.
The VIP Guest visit motivating HPPM to produce high QCDMS product, so that all the customers across
the globe are satisfied with HPPM product.
On August 29th 2019, the 8th NHC Indonesia Bloc Convention was hosted by HPM in Karawang plant which participated by 20 circle participants from AHJ, HPM, HPPM, HPPI and suppliers.
Three participated circles from HPPM were selected for, 1 circle advances to Interbloc Convention (Japan), and 2 circles advance to AOB Convention (Philippines).
On August 19th 2019, Mr. Takaaki Nakamura (General Manager of Quality Control Division, Transmission Manufacturing Department) visited for quality evaluation meeting.
He confirmed each gemba, and gave valuable advice on quality improvement. We would continue to work on maintaining and improving quality.
Mr. Kayama (G-HEAD, Production Operations) visited HPPM on September 20th 2019 to share information regarding to mass production status and production strategy.
Through high motivation, we will continue to supply high accuracy and high quality products that satisfy customers all over the world.
On September 7th, the 17th Family Gathering was held at Trans Studio Bandung, participated by 8427 employees and their families.
This event aims to enhance further working motivation by improving communication among employees and deepening family bond. That whole day was full of joy from employees and their families.
The 18Ki first half best kaizen competition was held on October 24th and 25th 2019. From 22.882 submitted proposals, there were 22 proposals being presented and checked directly at Genba.
Best kaizen competition is expected to motivate associates exploring their idea to improve genba and contributing on company quality improvement based on QCDMS.
2 HPPM representative teams participated in NHC AOB convention held in HPI (Honda Philippines, Inc) on October 15th-18th 2019. Participated by Asia Oceania’s each genpo, total 68 circles from 13 countries.
Through this event HPPM representative circles delivered their theme. It was very helpful to hear the theme of other genpo as well. The representative teams could lift up quality improvement of QCDMS in HPPMso that could apply horizontal development.
The 6th Technical Olympic was held from November 7th till December 12th 2019. There are four competitions same as last year, Bolt Tightening Competition, Equipment Measurement Competition, Data Entry Competition and Drawing Competition which participated by 388 associates in total to challenge their technical skills.
Through this event, associates motivation and technical skill could be increased and it leads to better quality in the company.
HPPM circle representative participated Japan Bloc Convention in Tochigi from November 13th~17th 2019. Each member was able to exchange theme and culture with all Honda friends across the globe. At this event, HPPM circle representative was awarded as “Best Presentation” from President Director of Honda Motor’s Mr. Hachigo.

HCG Self Verification been held on 2019 Sept 2nd till Dec 13th.
The purpose of HCG Self Verification is to verify that the company's operation is correctly implemented based on the prescribed rules, standards and systems, and to improve quickly if there are any deficiencies.
This verification been held by cross-checking the rules, standards, and system operation status between different department.
From now on, we will continue to conduct regular business operation sincerely.
