In 2017, BQ theme from ASSY Department as HPPM representative was joint and present theme at Asia Oceania Best Quality Award in Thailand on January 23rd~24th ,2018
10 themes from 8 country was presented, and theme from HPPM was awarded as BQ Award for GOLD Category.
We will continuously develop BQ activities and do quality improvement with a high consciousness.
In January 25th 2018, The 8th Safety Poster Competition was held and joined by 97 participants and has been rewarded some winner from each theme such as Working Safety, Commuting Safety, and Disaster Prevention
Through this event, the awareness of working safety and commuting safety will raise and zero accident of working or commuting can continuously achieve.
In January 26th, HPPM Supplier Meeting was held and joined by 98 person from 56 company.
As the appreciation for their daily support and efforts for our production planning, quality improvement and cost reduction, in this event we also asked for unity and greater cooperation in order to level up of QCD.
On February 9th 2018, HPPM was welcoming the Executive officer of quality Mr Kaihara and the chairman of BQ Mr. Ishibashi from Japan regarding BQ Award Visit. Assy Dept was presented Gold Category as the 2017 BQ Theme for Gold Category.
Mr Kaihara said "To enhance quality competitiveness, please make a good use of what we have learned so far, propose and improve at gemba site".
BQ Activities will be participated by all associates continuously in order to improve quality.
In Feb 21st, 2018, HPPM implement Oil Pump Gear (OPG) Line Closing Ceremony.
The OPG line in HPPM started production since February 2005th and it has reached 3,402,000 units. In 12 years continuously produce the high precision and high quality of OPG. But due to the demand for AT Mission production capacity has decreased and transferred to Hamamatsu Factory.
We will continuously to produce the world's high precision and high quality product, by cultivate the technology and skills as OPG.
On March 23rd, 2018, Opening ceremony of jogging track & futsal court was held and it was attended by HPPM management, labour Union and associates representatives, and HPPM marathon athletes. This sport facility is a form of the company support for associates who have interests and talents in sports, especially running and futsal. This is also a way to maintain and increase health condition and communication between associates and management through running and futsal.
On March 20th - 21st, 2018, recertification audit ISO 9001 and 14001 was held. Base on the audit result, HPPM is still recommended to obtain ISO 9001 and 14001 version 2015 certificates. Audit can be done well and according to plan. Both ISO 9001 and 14001 get one advice about risk management for more detail analysis study. To the advice, HPPM will be fixed soon to increase Quality and Environment system in HPPM
On April 12th-13th HPPM implement TQM Training for group leader. The event followed by 11 Group Leader.
The purpose of this training is to create and to controlling action plan department with DST-PDCA.
HPPM Best Kaizen & Best Hakken Competition for 16ki 2nd half lf was held on April, 25th - 26th at its gemba where improvement activity was done.
From 22 themes from each department, 10 themes was chosen as the winner.
For Best Hakken Competition, from 18 themes of participants, 3 themes was chosen as the winner.
BQ award competition was held on May 14th 2018 which participated by 9 themes and 3 best themes has selected as winners.
The winner will participate to Asia Oceania BQ in Thailand as HPPM representative in February 2019. Through activities BQ we will continually strive to improve quality and human resource.
NHC Supplier Convention was held at May 8th 2018. Participated by 16 circles and selected 3 circles as supplier representative.
By participating NHC, aims to educate man power and to improve their motivation and QCDMS between HPPM and supplier.
The 3 circles targeting to participate NHC Indonesian convention and do their best for NHC and supplier convention in June 28th 2018.
On June 26th 2018, NHC HPPM Convention was held and joined by 14 circles from HPPM and 3 circles from supplier.
3 circles from HPPM and 1 circle from supplier were selected to compete for NHC Indonesia Bloc Convention on next August. NHC will be sustainably improved to level up associate’s skill, motivation and team work .
Buka Puasa (Open Fasting) was held on June 1st 2018 which is participated by all associates and management team.
This annual event aimed to strengthen deepen relationship among all associates and company. This event goal is to build better communication and working motivation.
Bakka Cross verification for Asia Oceania region was held at HPPM on July 17th-20th 2018 which participated by gempos representatives from HPPM, HPM, HCIL, HPMC, HCIL and HATC.
The aim of verification is to prevent an explosion・fire and for continuous training for engineers and create risk measures and safe workplace by establishing the system/structure.
HPPM also will actively and continuously develop this activity.
On July 8th, the Opening ceremony of 13th HPPM Olympiadepartment was held.
Olympiadepartment is the activity to improve health and better communication among associates through sports competition, hobbies and talent.
Until the closing ceremony which is held on September 2nd , the competitions and events continuously hold every weekend.
The 7th NHC Indonesia Bloc Convention was held on August 30th participated by 19 circles from AHM, HPM, HPPM, HPPI and suppliers.
This event aims to select Indonesian circle representatives to participate World Convention in Brazil and AOB Convention in Taiwan on November. 3 circles advance to World Convention and 12 circles to AOB Convention.
HPPM Ganriki Training was held on August 15th-16th which participated by 36 participants from HPPM and Suppliers.
This training aims to increase sensibility towards problem and abnormal condition at genba so that they could be fixed immediately to stabilize production and improve productivity.
The 13th Olympiadepartment closing ceremony was held on September 2nd 2018.
As a result of competition in 7 sports area and talent performing arts that held more than a month, an award ceremony was held to celebrate and commend all the winners.
Olympiadepartment is an annual event awaited by all associates which enhances fair play spirit and leads to improvement of teamwork communication.
Jakarta Kizuna Ekiden, annual event that deepen friendship and ties between Indonesia and Japan, was held on September 23rd 2018 and HPPM sent 3 teams to compete.
Of the total 400 teams, Team HPPM 1 has won the 7th place.
We will continue to aim higher.

In order to produce high quality precision products for our consumers which is HPPM strength, kaizen would be maintained continuously with participation of all associates.
On October 13th, the 16th Family Gathering HPPM was held. It was followed enthusiastically by 8391 associates and families.
This year has also become a fun event and has create trust and a strong bound between associate and HPPM family. The trust and strong bound will continue and draw closer to nurture and enhance cooperation in harmonic atmosphere.
HPPM participated on NHC Asia Oceania in Taiwan (2 Teams) and World Convention in Brazil (1 Team). The teams could see and learn themes of other Honda associates from many countries. Besides, they could learn the culture of other countries as well.
Knowledge and experience will be shared to new members of the circle so that the level of HPPM NHC activities will increase.
The 5th Technical Olympic has been held On Nov 13th~29th, 2018. There are 4 kinds of competition thus year. The event participated by 507 associates to challenge one another improving their skills.
This event aims to increase associates interest in improving their skills and motivation continuously.
Engagement survey been held on 2018 November 22nd and 29th and also December 6th.
The purpose of this survey is to create Honda-like organizational environemnt that enable each employee to engage in vigorous work by realizing a vibrant and unique workplace in achieving the 2030 vision.
HCG Self Verification been held on 2018 Nov 16th till Dec 11th.
The purpose of HCG Self Verification is to verify that the company's operation is correctly implemented based on the prescribed rules, standards and systems, and to improve quickly if there are any deficiencies.
This verification been held by cross-checking the rules, standards, and system operation status between different department.
From now on, we will continue to conduct regular business operation sincerely.
